Bear Hunts with Grandma!
" 'anna eat a pants!?"
("Want to eat my pants?")
She just was so adorable in her little boots and shirt. Melts my heart! She loved those little lambies, especially "Frodo". A sweet little black ram that my parents named. He was pretty much dead, and my Mom nursed him back to life and he was just the cutest little thing and so friendly.
My Own Sweet Little Lambies....holding Lambies.....
We had fun bringing these little ones into the barn every night. One night, we were up playing games and I thought I heard the kids crying on the baby monitor so I opened up the door and was met with an overwhelming bleating sound from downstairs. I looked at Dad, who immediately put on a face of concern. "Sounds like a commotion." I think were the words he uttered as he quickly got up from the table. We all rushed downstairs and found that one of the doors had been blown open and all of the lambs that we had gathered in from one of the pins were out lookin for their mothers and their mothers were bleating loudly as they looked for their babies. It certainly WAS a commotion! :) hahaha. We quickly gathered them all back in and secured the door tightly.

Herding Sheep
Someone was quite upset when Grandpa got off the four wheeler to herd the rams into a different pasture and didn't come back for a while. Lydia ran to her rescue when she heard her crying. It was a cute sister moment.
as they drove off, Lydia looked at Grandma and mouthed, nervously through clenched teeth, "I have to go to the bathroom!...."
The pretty rainbow on our drive home.
The Shepherds, themselves! I love these shots of them with their "Jack Sparrow".
