| Preschool Gymnastics Show Off Day April 23, 2016 |
My heart filled with pride as I watched this little Miles in his Preschool Gymnastics Show Off day. His teachers planned it around a circus theme and had circus music and announced each of the gymnasts before they went through the course. They called Miles up second or third and he wouldn't get up! I was nervous he was going to bow out. He had been so excited for this! He is pretty stage shy. He sat there and they were all coaxing him to go...finally they decided to let someone else go first. The next time they called him up, he went up but then stood at the first obstacle and just kinda walked around in circles with his head down! I was sitting in my chair like, "Come on Miles....you can do it buddy!" (teeth clenched...) He finally timidly went for it and then after that he was just fantastic! The coaches said he's ready to move up into beginner boys gymnastics! So we will give it a try.
