New Years Eve 2015-2016!!

We were happy to get to spend New Year's Eve with some family. Our little home tightly held 6 adults and four children. It was a grand time indeed! The kids really enjoyed being part of the party. They liked the "Build a Snowman" game, Stick the Nose on the Reindeer game, and the Candy Cane race. They also love a good dance party and this evening didn't fail. Christopher played some fun songs and they each enjoyed the spotlight. We all even got to dance a couples' dance, which was really fun! Everyone joined in, Grandmas and Grandpas and Uncles and Aunts....Miles toasted to "drawing a picture in the New Year!" Lydia wants to "help Dad fix the treehouse" in the New Year and Faith wants to "danth (dance), yeth (yes.)." After giving their "toasts" , they each had some Sparkling Cider. Their eyes were full of excitement while we all counted down from ten for them. "HAPPY NEW YEAR!'' We all shouted. They drifted off to happy party New Year Land and the grown-ups played a few games. The only one that I planned was like a little "couples" type game where we tried to guess our spouses answers. Then we played some of our favorites; Five Guys and Word on the Street.

Stick the Nose on the Reindeer

Chris won

But we all had fun trying!!

Candy Cane Race
We said one candy cane at a time the first round. Then we decided it was more fun to get as many as you could....
