Our neighbors, the Ports invited us over for a ham dinner. We had all gotten gifts for each other too, so we did a little gift exchange too and then separated to do our own family things. It was fun and crazy and full of friendship and Christmas love.
We shared the story of the Little Drummer Boy and talked about how we all can find something to give to Jesus. We then had our little family Christmas Eve program where we each thought of a gift, not a tangible gift, but a gift of ourselves, that we could share with Jesus. After our program we let the kids open there new pajama gift, change into them and we sat and wrote down gifts we wanted to give to Jesus this year. Each of the kids hung their stockings and it was really nice and fun! I'm excited to have some of our own family traditions.
Kids love their new pajamas. Lydia is so fincky! She loved them and was so excited, put them on and flipped her top! "They didn't fit her!" she "Wanted them OFF!" We finally got her settled down enough to snap these pictures, and after that she realized that they really weren't so bad.
Miles started getting so silly, I just had to keep some of these photos just because I want to remember his cute little personality.
(....these pajamas are now Lydia's Favorite and she wears them all the time and loves them!....that girl...)
