One day, I was struggling getting anything done in the house. Packing boxes and going through closets was not the way that the children wanted to spend their hot summer day. I finally filled up the water table and showed them how to shoot the little squirty animals with their squirt guns. This encouraged play and they just took off! Thank goodness! I LOVE when this happens! They played and giggled and laughed and were in complete joy of their exciting new activity. It brought me complete joy also to watch my children in such happiness.
Decided a competition to see who could shoot the water the highest on the wall was fun.
...then just shooting anything was pure delight!
