We were lucky enough to be at the airport when Rachel returned from Germany! It was quite exciting to be in the group that welcomed her arrival. There were lots there. The kids were excited to see Aunt Rachel, Lydia especially. We hugged and reunited and then assembled at Launa and Richard's house for some dinner and visiting. Rachel looked dazed as we all tried to give her updates on each of our lives one by one. The food was Yummy and the kids played outside until it got dark and they migrated in and found Aunt Launa's toys. Rachel's guitar and voice has been missed and so it wasn't any wonder that she ended up serenading all of the adults in German. It was a special evening.

We met up with Rachel and the more immediate fam the next day, Saturday. Toes were tickled and smiles were born at this fantastic little park in Springfield, UT. They have created a small clean, playable stream with fountains throughout. There is a playground right next to it and it was so so fun! A refreshing variety from the mundane "splash pad".
I caught Miles flirting! He wanted to dance with this little statue.... ;)
...and here he is helping this boy spray the water.
After the park, we assembled at Becky and Matt's house for some really really yummy Mexican food they had prepared for everyone. Rachel said that was one food that Germany did not have, so that's what she wanted.
