Mock Camping = Pleasant

Bennett Family "Mock Camping" Night

Grandma and Grandpa and the Riches took off for the weekend to camp near the beach. Chris couldn't get off work and it just didn't work out for us to join them. The weather was so perfect that we decided to have our own little camp out at home! We had planned to set up the tent in the yard until we discovered that Grandma and Grandpa took it with them. :) So we all "camped out" downstairs in Grandma and Grandpa's bedroom where the air mattress the Riches were using was. It was fun. Lydia thought it was so exciting to get to sleep downstairs and on the air mattress! We roasted hot dogs and had s'mores and caught fireflies and picked wild flowers and then, the awesome part, we got to go inside and shower and get snuggled up in bed.
