Lydia worked all summer to save for this scooter. She set up stores (which I have discovered is quite a passion of hers...not sure why, I hate that kind of stuff, but I am trying hard to be supportive...) all summer. Besides earning over $50 at a bake sale and donating it all to the Arthritis Foundation, she earned enough to also buy herself this. She made bracelets and sold them, collected sea shells from Bear Lake and sold them, and when her friends and others became less interested in the sea shells, she decided to create things out of them like pictures and cards and sold those! She has greatly enjoyed her scooter and I am very proud of her.
