Our first day of travel actually went quite smoothly. We got out slightly later than we had hoped, but we still were making good time. We didn't think to reserve a hotel because we weren't exactly sure where we would be when we felt like we needed to stop (because we left late, we didn't think we'd make it to the destination we had planned). When we finally made it, it was really late. Every single hotel we tried were completely booked!! We didn't know what to do. We ended up having to try and sleep in the car. OH MY GOODNESS! It was ABSOLUTELY HORRID!! We were all tired and cranky and the kids were ready to stretch out, as were we. Longest night of my life! Our first stop the next morning was to be the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. We got there early (because we were sick of trying to sleep. They didn't open for another hour so we decided to save our money and our time and head to the next destination. We got to get out and look around and take some pictures, but we didn't actually go in, which really did save us quite a bit of money, and time!
