We went up to the temple for Family Home Evening to listen to a free concert by Paul Cardall a pianist. He has survived heart disease and shared his story through a slide show of pictures while he accompanied with a beautiful song on the piano. It was a fun short little concert. He had some little girls from the audience come down and play on the piano. The older of the two had recently had a recital and so she played one of her pieces "Deck the Halls". It was really good. Before they sat down, he had them choose two random notes on the piano and he would use those two notes to create a song. It was incredible what he can do off the top of his head, what a talent! Lydia really enjoyed it, and Miles too (who received some dirty looks because he was babbling and then coughing...). But it was fine. Chris also ran into his boss, which was awkward because he (Chris) had called in sick that day....He really was sick, he just wanted to come to the temple with us.

I guess they have done away with having a live nativity, but it is still a beautiful set.

Such a beautiful building!

Love this view. Such a neat thing to see the Savior in the background of all these lights. Neat because he is the Light of the World.
