Christmas 2012

The Gelvins came over for the Christmas Eve Program. Lydia and Gabriel made a cute little Mary and Joseph. The Gelvins performed "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas", Lydia sang Away in a Manger, Rachel played the guitar and sang for us. We put the kids to bed and had a fun little novelty food exchange for the adults. In the end we unwrapped Root Beer bottles, Lindt Chocolates, little cups of mini pickles, Smoked turkey legs, more chocolates, some Martinellis and a Cookies and Cream Hershey's bar. We gave Nicolette and Ryan their gift from us, since we had their name this year. And then we played it. A game. Smart Ass. No, not you...that's the name of the game :).

Grandma and Grandpa in their Dairy Christmas Hand-Me-Down pajamas from my Grandma and Grandpa Stoker.

Miles with his table toy. Notice Lydia in the back with her new all time favorite shoes. Wants to wear them with everything, every day.
I actually don't have very many photos for Christmas Day. I was taking video most of the day instead. It was a memorable Christmas and it was a lot of fun to get gifts for the kids and each other. Lydia got a new Princess Bike, a little learning pad, some new shoes, notebooks, and lots of little goodies (i.e. toothbrush, perfume, candy, etc) from Santa Claus, Cinderella (DVD and blue ray), Peter Pan (VHS), and some new pajamas from Mom and Dad, a slinky and a tutu from Aunt Becky, some money from Grandma and Grandpa, a jewelry box and a necklace from Aunt Rachel, and another learning pad and Candyland from Grandma and Grandpa Bennett. Miles really likes his little table top toy from Santa Claus. He loves trying to be a big boy and standing up using it for support. He also got some cars, and a puzzle from Santa, a truck and some balls (football, soccer, basketball) from Lydia, and some books from Mom and Dad.
